I use it in many recipes, including Tortellini Carbonara.

Tips for the best Tortellini with Peas:
- Since this recipe is so simple there aren’t a lot of ways to mess it up. Mainly, don’t overcook the tortellini. The pasta is fully cooked and prepared; it’s just frozen, so you are just heating it up. It should only take two to three minutes to thaw to perfection in the boiling water.
- Once you add the tortellini and peas to the butter mixture in the skillet, it should only take a few minutes to heat up. Don’t overcook it.
Why this recipe works:
- The cream and butter combine to form a sauce on the tortellini and peas. The sauce isn’t very thick or substantial but just right for this recipe.
- Make sure you have all of the ingredients ready to go because the recipe is so fast to make.
- You can use grated or shredded Parmesan cheese in this recipe, or a combination of both.
